Michael Alan

Michael Alan artist and Founder of Draw-a-thon Performance & Theater a New York City Subculture, Alan a native New Yorker is also know for his work as infamous graffiti artists "Fade" painting the streets for 17 years, Alan's work has been on The Today Show, The Village Voice, The New York Times, Art World Digest, The Cover of Elemental Magazine 8 page story, Time Out NY, N.Y Press, Mimosa, N.Y ARTS magazine, The Hustle and over 50 publications along with Solo and group shows in Chelsea, Soho, Dumbo, Williamsburg and Germany.

Alan integrates seemingly inconsistent styles creating hybrids and crossbreeding. His current work  the Time Travelers, creatures that are caught in the past, present and the future surviving in a alternate reality. The chronic time exaggerators are a critique on the progression of art history, They question the idea of history and are a reaction to living in a confusing art period. The Travelers are alive and believable their time and place is unexplainable.
